Ministry

  • November, 1978 – Arrived in Costa Rica
  • 1979-1981 – Language School – partnered with veteran missionary in church plant in Heredia
  • 1981- 1985 – Moved to Limon – started Iglesia Bautista de Los Corales  – now self-supporting church with national pastor
  • 1985 – 2005 – Move to San Ramon – started Iglesia Bautista el Calvario (Bible Institute – Youth Camp – Sunday school ministry – Church construction – Missions program)
  • 1995 – Started mission in Tejares
  • 1999 – Started church plant in Bolivar
  • 2000 – Started church plant in Concepcion – Iglesia Bautista Renacer  – now has an ordained national pastor
  • 2004-2005 – Radio Ministry in San Ramon;  moved to Atenas to develop church plant
  • 2006-2010 – Returned to San Ramon to advance the ministry of Iglesia Bautista el Calvario
  • 2011-2012 – Developed teaching ministry among indigenous tribes in Panama, Colombia, Peru and Brazil (Ngobe-Bugle, Cuna, Emberá, Tikuna, Cocama and Mayuruna)
  • 2013 – Furlough and continued seminary teaching (modular courses)
  • 2013-2018 – Continual expansion of the jungle indigenous ministry; new opportunities are constantly arising in many villages
  • 2017 – new church plant (Iglesia Bautista Vida Nueva) in San Juan district of San Ramon, Costa Rica
  • 2016-2018 – founding or construction of eight churches during this two-year period in Costa Rica, Panama, and Colombia
