Lynn and I have returned to the USA from a missions trip to Panama. It was a great joy to serve among the Cuna and Embera people. Four young people were saved in the meetings and God worked in many lives. Three Embera groups have asked us to come back and teach a Discipleship course. We will spend three days in each village.
Right now I am gearing up for my next Amazon trip. Yesterday I was innoculated for yellow fever which is a Brazilian visa requirement. While at the Health Dept. I also received the tetanus innoculation in case of a cut or wound. I will be teaching Church Planting and Discipleship to many pastors from ethnic tribes in the northern Amazon.
These men are not just “receivers”—they are “reproducers”! They will take all that we teach them, translate it into their native tongue, and then teach others in their distant villages. We are trusting God for a great church planting movement among these people who need the gospel.
Lynn and I have a full schedule for February and March as we report to supporting churches in the USA. Please pray that God will supply for this next Amazon trip—estimated cost $2000.
